The concept “BoneJuvenate” was created by a team of health care professionals, a chiropractor and a personal trainer, with combined expertise of over 50 years, whose goal is to improve bone health and build functional strength. This unique exercise program will also improve balance, coordination, and overall health.
Osteoporosis is a disease that causes thinning and weakening of bone, with the possibility of breaking easily. It is called a "silent disease" because you cannot feel bone loss and often the first sign of osteoporosis is a painful fracture. Osteoporosis and low bone mass are a public health threat to over half of the U.S. population, aged 50 and over (44 million people). Every 20 seconds someone suffers a bone fracture as a result of osteoporosis. Fracture itself carries a high morbidity and mortality risk.
The good news is that osteoporosis is now detectable, preventable, and treatable. You are never too young or too old to improve your bone health.
